GUIYANG, April 27 (Xinhua) — China’s leading
liquor maker Kweichow Moutai earned a net profit of 13.95 billion yuan
(about 2.15 billion U.S. dollars) in the first quarter of 2021, up 6.57
percent year on year.
During the January-March period, its revenue climbed 11.74 percent
year on year to 27.27 billion yuan, the company said in its quarterly
report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The liquor maker said late March that it has set its revenue growth
target for 2021 at around 10.5 percent compared with last year.
Distilled in the town of Maotai in southwest China’s Guizhou
