Yunnan Baiyao’s net profit up 20 pct in first three quarters

Abstract : China's Yunnan Baiyao Group on Thursday announced that its net profit attributable to shareholders topped 4.25 billion yuan (about 633.7 million U.S. dollars) in the first three quarters of 2020, an increase of 20.08 percent year on year.

KUNMING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) — China’s Yunnan Baiyao Group on Thursday announced that its net profit attributable to shareholders topped 4.25 billion yuan (about 633.7 million U.S. dollars) in the first three quarters of 2020, an increase of 20.08 percent year on year.

The company raked in 23.9 billion yuan in operating revenue during the same period, up 10.56 percent compared with that in the first nine months of last year.

Established in 1902, Yunnan Baiyao is a time-honored brand based in southwest China’s Yunnan Province. It is famous for producing baiyao, a white powder that is used to stop bleeding and relieve pain.
