Chinese cars start to gain popularity in Ukraine

Abstract : Ukrainian automobile and motor vehicle association Ukravtoprom reported that Chinese cars sales in Ukraine have increased by a quarter over the first four months of the year, according to local media on Thursday.

KIEV, May 14 (Xinhua) — Ukrainian automobile and motor vehicle association Ukravtoprom reported that Chinese cars sales in Ukraine have increased by a quarter over the first four months of the year, according to local media on Thursday.

“945 vehicles manufactured in China were purchased in Ukraine between January and April this year. Compared to the same period last year, registrations of Chinese cars increased by a quarter, despite the crisis caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic,” said Ukravtoprom representatives.

Ukrainian customers prefer CHERY. Since the beginning of the year, 512 cars produced by this manufacturer were registered in Ukraine. The bestseller in the Ukrainian market is the crossover CHERY Tiggo 2. Ukrainians also like HAVAL, FAW and JAC.
